Cultivating Gratitude Yoga Workshop

Saturday, March 5 | 4:00pm-5:00pm

Slow down and open yourself up to the beauty of the present moment. The Cultivating Gratitude Workshop will offer a calming and grounding yoga sequence, with poses that are accessible for students at all levels of practice. We will begin with a heart-connecting visualization in order to engage the energy of self love and compassion and then will explore the mind/body responses to gratitude through the lens of somatic experiencing.

Cultivating Gratitude is a practice that can lead towards a more positive life. When we begin to appreciate what is around us, our relationships improve and we become a happier and more fulfilled person. Gratitude improves our health by boosting our immunities, improving the quality of sleep, and lowering blood pressure. Most of all, the practice of gratitude can be taken off the mat to create a space in our lives for positive and transformative growth.
