Tight hips? Suffer from low back pain?

Sitting results in consistent compression of the hip flexors, the muscles joining the abdomen to the legs. Over time, this shortening of the hip flexors adjusts the position of the pelvis and in turn upsets the muscles and structures above and below the hips. Hence, knee problems and low back pain.

Running and cycling can also result in tight hips due to the repeated use of the hip flexors to lift the leg to propel you forward.

While the health of our hips & low back are our lifeline, we often neglect their health. This workshop is what i consider the “key” to body health! The greatest of yogi’s repeatedly tell us…”You’re only as young as you’re spine is flexible.”

Expect to breathe into the discomfort with deep twists, hip opening & strengthening exercises, release of the hammy’s, quads, & glutes, followed by a full inversion to lengthen & decompress the spine…..aaaaahhh!

Energetically… Many of our negative emotions like to “hide out” in places in our bodies that get the least amount of stretching and release.
