Growing up, Sam was involved in multiple competitive sports which opened the door to a passion for physical activity and strength training. She has been an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer since 2012. She has professional experience as a Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach in New York, Massachusetts, and Texas.

In 2013, Sam graduated with her Masters of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Athletic Counseling; which allowed her the opportunity to spend time exploring how the mind and body work together. Feeling like there was something missing from her physical routine, Sam started practicing yoga in her mid-20s with the goal of becoming more flexible. Much to her surprise, she found the puzzle piece she had been looking for, allowing for a full body, mind, and spiritual balance. Sam fell in love with the practice which led her to complete a 200 hour YTT through ULU Yoga. Sam enjoys exploring a wide variety of practices from yin to vinyasa to power yoga. She is passionate about assisting others in their own personal growth on and off the mat.
