Aerial Yoga Level 1 Teacher Training

Aerial Yoga is soaring to new heights within yoga communities worldwide. Open your mind and body to limitless possibilities, and get ready to flip your students’ practice—and their lives—upside down.

At Good Karma, we offer small, specialized training groups of 5-8 participants to ensure personalized attention and a more focused learning experience. You’ll receive a solid foundation in using the aerial hammock and develop the skills to safely guide your students through beginner to intermediate classes, all while fostering a fun and supportive environment.

This training is open to anyone eager to deepen their understanding of the aerial hammock and how it aligns with your personal or professional goals. Whether you’re looking to enhance your own practice, expand your teaching abilities, or integrate the aerial hammock into your movement repertoire, this training is for you.

While this training is called Aerial Yoga Level 1 Teacher Training and will primarily focus on poses that correlate to traditional yoga movements, a yoga certification is not required. This training will include fitness, yoga, flexibility, and fun playful aerial tricks, designed to benefit and be useful for individuals from a variety of movement modalities. The principles of physical alignment and anatomy covered in the training can be applied to enhance any movement practice, making it a valuable resource for fitness professionals, dancers, gymnasts, and anyone interested in exploring the aerial hammock.

While a yoga teaching certification is not required to attend, those without certification will need to title their classes something other than “Aerial Yoga.” Ex: Aerial Dance, Aerial Flow, Aerial Fitness, etc.

If you’re passionate about integrating the aerial swing into your practice or teaching repertoire, this training will provide the tools and knowledge you need to take your skills to new heights!
