Jenn
Jennifer Gerber is an experienced, registered yoga teacher, a certified life coach and masters educated school teacher. Her passion to help others obtain and maintain a balanced lifestyle of health and wellness came after she and her husband abandoned their careers at a Fortune 250 Corporation to pursue their heart’s calling.
After departing from these jobs, Jenn, along with her husband Tim, threw on backpacks and traveled through South America for seven months. Through that seven-month experience, Jenn was able to connect to her authentic self which allowed her the opportunity to find clarity on what the next life adventure would be. It was during this time she realized her true calling is to help people of all ages find compassion for themselves. That, in this crazy world, there is a way to experience true contentment and self-love. She believes that people need more teachers to offer “permission” to achieve life goals without judgment and are committed to this purpose and cycles of life.
Upon returning to the States, Jenn immersed herself in a deeper study of vinyasa yoga and received a 200-hour certification from Frog Lotus in 2007. In 2009, Jennifer received her Masters in Science in Health Education and began teaching middle/high school Health at a local school district. Additionally, Jenn has received certifications as a Life Coach (2011) and Mindful School Teacher (2015) and Barre (2010). In 2018, Jennifer completed her 300-hour Foundational Yoga Therapy training that has only helped her to provide more tools for her students dealing with stress and trauma.
Jenn is an enthusiastic, dedicated and fun loving person who enjoys promoting health and wellness to all. She truly inspires students of all ages and in 2016 Jenn was chosen as one of NYS Teacher of the Year by her students, a testament to the mentor she is in so many students’ lives whether in the classroom or on the yoga mat.
She currently teaches in Saratoga Springs, NY and lives with her husband and dog Dugan. Please email her jenngerber518@gmail.com with any questions or private yoga needs.
